Mt Hood Gift Shops
There are many gift shops in the Mt Hood area that provide great items for gifts or souvenirs; allowing you to hold on to your memories of your trip to Mt Hood. Many of these shops provide clothing items, soaps and lotions, jewelry, or local artists. If you’re looking for local artists, another option includes visiting the Local Welches Artisan page, it features some, but not all, of the amazing artists found in the community.
Welches:
Whispering Woods Resort- The gift shop offers a variety of souvenirs, from T-shirts and sweatshirts to mugs and magnets to soaps and lotions. There are also personal items that may have been forgotten, such as a toothbrush and paste or over-the-counter medicines.

In Sheep’s Clothing– This little shop offers a large selection of items and gifts hand crafted on the mountain, hand spun wool, and brown sheep yarns. A percentage of profits on selected items is donated to various non-profits.

Mt Hood Roasters- This coffee shop takes great pride in adding to the rich culinary contributions Oregonians make to produce beer, wine, and coffee. They are one of the only coffee roasting companies in the Pacific Northwest that has been featured in the National Geographic Society Map Guide. The beans are roasted on site with 100% Arabica coffees. They also provide tours and love to share about the process of coffee roasting with their Sivetz Fluid Bed Air Roaster. They have custom labeled coffee or “coffee of the month” mail order options; Organic & Fair Trade coffee; and coffee purchasable by the pound.

Sandy:
Dita’s Chocolates: Dita’s proudly features local Oregon and Washington fine chocolates, as well as gourmet wines from the Pacific Northwest. The first Friday of every month, they provide free wine tastings, from 5 pm to 7 pm.

Designer Yarn- This quaint and cozy shop inspires visitors as soon as they walk in the door, where they are surrounded by gorgeous yarns. They provide both classic and trendy yarns, found in an abundant array of colors.

Chariteas- A sweet lil’ boutique tea shop, filled with communitea and qualitea. It’s an oasis of whimsical fun and quite reflection, but most importantly a source of great teas. They also, have a cute gift shop with loose leaf teas and fun tea related items to take home.

Tollgate Bakery & Gift Shop- This bakery offers everything from seasonal fruit pies to muffins, bear claws to cookies, and cannoli to cupcakes. The bakery also offers a full service espresso bar, fresh made soups and sandwiches, old fashion candy, and nostalgic pop. Gift shop includes unique, one of a kind merchandise.

Government Camp:
Mt Hood Cultural Museum- This little museum is a great place to learn and discover local history. It also has a gift shop full of wonderful memorable trinkets and educational publications.

Timberline Lodge- The Timberline Gallery is located in the Historic lodge. It features a great collection of locally crafted items. There are books about the lodge, art work, and other classic pieces featuring the Timberline style. The Wy’East Gift Shop is located in the day lodge. They feature great souvenirs including a variety of clothing, historical pictures, and other memorable items.
